📚💙 Yesterday, our 6th graders from Flaherty Elementary took a special trip to Flaherty Primary School to share the joy of reading with their younger friends!
They proudly read aloud to primary students, modeling great fluency, expression, and a love for books. The little ones were all smiles, and our 6th graders shone as role models and leaders.
Moments like these build confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of learning.

🎉 Celebration Day at School! 🎉
Today we took time to celebrate all the hard work our students have put in so far this year, and what a day it was!
🏃♂️ Our Cross Country team was recognized for their dedication and success.
🌍 Students who participated in “Where in the World Am I?” were celebrated for their curiosity and problem-solving.
📚 We honored our Reading Challenge achievers for their commitment to growing as readers.
💻 And our top IXL leaders were recognized for their academic effort and progress!
In the afternoon, students were rewarded with fun and games as a thank-you for their effort and achievements this year.
🔥 We also kicked off the day with an important and engaging fire safety presentation from the Flaherty Fire Department. A big THANK YOU to them for taking the time to teach and protect our students!
It was a wonderful day of recognition, learning, and celebration! 💚📘✨

They keep our school clean, safe, and running smoothly every single day. From early mornings to late evenings, their hard work often goes unseen, but it makes a HUGE difference in the lives of our students and staff. 💙
Thank you for all you do to make our school a welcoming place to learn and grow. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Students get to choose their own challenges from a variety of options that fit all reading levels and interests. The best part? They earn 🎁 prizes and 🏆 house points along the way!
These awesome readers were the FIRST to finish a challenge this school year—way to go! 🎉👏

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing teachers and community members who came out to cheer them on—you made the sidelines full of energy and support! 👏👏

At this time, we only have the capacity to host 5th and 6th grades; there will not be a 3rd and 4th grade team. We want to apologize to our 4th grade students and families about misinformation sent home and any confusion it may have caused. Thank you!
