Congratulations to our Library/Media Specialist, Sarah Nevitt!
On July 9, she presented at the Kentucky Association of School Librarians professional development in Owensboro, along with some other members of the Kentucky Bluegrass Award Committee. Their presentation was an introduction to the Kentucky Bluegrass Award Nominees for this school year. This is the 13th summer she has been a presenter. As a member of the KBA committee, she has read and assisted in the selection of grades 6-8 titles/nominees that are promoted the following school year beginning in the Fall and voted on by students across the state in the Spring. She also had the honor of meeting author Alan Gratz this year, who was our keynote speaker at the event!

SPMS Parents and Guardians,
We are excited about new services that our school nurses will be able to provide through the Healthy Kids Clinic!
However, in order for our school nurses to even be able check on your student, we must have the consent form completed and returned to the nurse. Attached you will see the consent form and an FAQ document.
You can complete the consent form in different ways:
1. Print the form, complete and sign, turn it into the SPMS office.
or
2. Complete the form with a PDF editor on your phone or device, save the completed form, and then email the form to katie.popham@meade.kyschools.us
