Flaherty Elementary Picture Day is October 1.
Our students are going above and beyond! When students do great things, they are rewarded with a Pride Pass. Some will even get to spin the wheel at lunch to earn extra house points Take a look at this week's group! Great job, Blue Devils!
Our students still have one more day of Map testing. Tomorrow, they will take the Language Map test. This test covers writing and grammar skills. Thank you so much for your support from home in making sure they are ready to for this improtant test!

Our Blue Devils are loving our new playground! Their joy brings to light what can happen when a community comes together for kids. We are so grateful for your support!
We had a wonderful start to the 25-26 school year! Today, we had our annual House Sorting Assembly where all of our new students were sorted into Houses. We had so much fun, and can't wait to see them back on Monday!

Each year, we ask families to complete school forms, and now is a great time to do so. All forms are completed online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal—no more paper, and only one submission per household, even if you have multiple students.
These forms are required for every student and help us:
✅ Continue offering free breakfast and lunch to all students
✅ Provide access to school health services
✅ Make sure your child is included in the yearbook and other school events
✅ Support the programs and services that benefit every student
Completing them now means one less thing to worry about during the first week of school. Thanks for helping us get the year off to a strong start.

As we move forward in the process of selecting the next principal for next year, the School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council is seeking your input. Your insights are valuable in helping us identify the qualities, skills, and leadership characteristics that will best serve our students, staff, and families.

We had such a great last week with our Blue Devils! Good luck to our 6th graders in Middle School, and we will see our returning Blue Devils in August! Have a fun and safe summer!
Every time a student scored proficient, they got to sign our Proficiency Graffiti Wall. Look at all of our students' successes! We are so proud of their hard work!
Field Day and Good Faith Effort reward have been rescheduled to Tuesday due to weather.
All FES library books were due back on Tuesday, but the library is still missing 138 books! We would appreciate any help in getting these books back to the library!
