Counselor: Mrs. Katie Wilson

Hello! My name is Katie Wilson and I am serving as the school counselor at Flaherty Elementary School. I have been a classroom teacher in Taylor County for the past 7 years, but my family decided it was time to move back home. My role here is to advocate for EACH child as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to be their best self. I love building relationships with students, partnering with families and teachers, and helping children develop the skills they need to thrive both in and out of school.
